About the event
The Up North Magic Convention returns for one final weekend!
Join Chris Cross and The Enchanted Rabbit from 23rd–25th April 2027 at The Gibside Hotel, Whickham for the final Up North Magic Convention.
Up North has always been about bringing magicians together for a friendly, intimate and action-packed weekend of magic. Expect a packed programme of lectures, performances, dealers, demonstrations and plenty of opportunities to meet and socialise with fellow magicians.
Across the three-day weekend, you'll be able to learn from professional performers, discover new tricks and rare treasures in the dealers area, enjoy live magic and spend time with a community of people who share the same passion for the art.
As this is the final Up North Magic Convention, we're planning to make it a weekend to remember!

- 6pm until late: Arrival and Magic Jam in the bar area
SATURDAY 24th
- 10am - 5pm: Star Lectures from top magicians and dealers open all day from
- 7pm - 10:30pm: Evening gala show of magic & variety
SUNDAY 25th
- 10am-11am: Morning Kids Magic Show
- 11:30-4pm: Lectures from Star Magicians and Dealers openly all day
- Ends at 4pm
